RedMAX
Redline has launched its RedMAX family of IEEE 802.16-2004-compliant
products, which it will present for WiMAX certification
in July.
The new product family consists of:
- RedMAX Base Station (AN-100U) – which interoperates
with any WiMAX-certified subscriber unit;
- RedMAX Subscriber Units – available in both
outdoor (RedMAX SU-O) and indoor (RedMAX SU-I) versions;
- RedMAX Backhaul solution – based on the AN-100U;
- RedMAX NMS – a feature-rich, reliable network
management system.
Redline’s RedMAX products are currently being
field tested to ensure interoperability with other WiMAX-ready
devices, and to fine-tune the Redline subscriber units’
use of Intel® PRO/Wireless 5116 broadband interface.
The RedMAX SU-O subscriber unit will be the first of
the family to be generally available, with customer
shipments scheduled for end of 2005.

System
Redline’s award-winning AN-100, the world’s
first 802.16 compliant product, provides a scalable
carrier-class broadband wireless solution for high performance
point to point and multipoint backhaul solutions
AN-50e System
Redline’s award-winning AN-50e is the world’s
first high-performance, low-cost multi-service solution
for carriers and service providers looking to expand
their networks and provide high quality access to customers.
AN-30e
System
The AN-30e is a carrier-grade TDM backhaul solution
for mobility network and enterprise network operators.
Operating in the 5.4 and 5.8 GHz unlicensed bands, the
system is capable of longrange links exceeding 50 mi
(80 km) in clear LOS conditions.

RedAccess NMS & RedMAX NMS 
RedAccess is a full-featured carrier-class Network
Management System (NMS). It is designed to manage Redline’s
products and maximize system reliability at a fraction
of the cost of a conventional NMS.
Strategically Speaking, operators of BWA networks require
a feature-rich, reliable management system that is highly-automated
to support services for the network components, while
facilitating a migration path to full integration with
the larger network OSS (including service creation,
alarm management, performance management and billing
components).
RedMAX NMS meets these strategic requirements for current
802.16-compliant products and for emerging, more robust
WiMAX-centered BWA networks. It is designed to manage
a hybrid network of pre-WiMAX Redline products, as well
as RedMAX family products to meet your FCAPS objectives.
